Sustainability

We at VLI believe that future is only present when the economic development is followed by social promotion and preservation of the environment. That is the only way we can leave a legacy to generations to come. A port, a railway or a terminal are not built from day to night. We know that neither does relationship with the community, trust and awareness. Thus, we invest in social dialogue actions and programs, safety in operations, environmental preservation and in preserving the historical heritage.

    Safe Operations

VLI has operations in more than 300 towns in Brazil. We are committed to guiding our actions based on relationships and dialogue with the communities. In order to prevent accidents on the railway line, we maintain projects that promote education, awareness and safe behaviors among residents, drivers, cyclists and motorcyclists. After all, the railroad is an integral part of the traffic in many towns in the country.
