Diversity Matters to Us
Promoting diversity and inclusion is essential to building VLI’s future — because we believe transforming Brazil’s logistics is only possible when everyone is part of the journey.
Back in 2019, we created a space where conversations around diversity could truly happen. This led to the formation of groups centered on gender equity, people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, generational diversity, and race and ethnicity.
These groups were formed by VLI employees who care deeply about creating a workplace where everyone feels welcome, heard, and empowered to grow.
They have since grown and evolved—exploring key topics, encouraging open dialogue, building support networks, and listening closely to what people across the company are experiencing.
Over time, they have grown in both reach and impact — becoming a meaningful part of our culture and our strategy. In 2021, we hosted a series of events, awareness campaigns, and initiatives to expand the reach of our Diversity and Inclusion efforts and messages across the company.

Elas na Logística (Gender Equity)
With over 200 women participating in monthly meetings, this group brings real issues to the table—challenges that impact gender equity both inside and outside the workplace.
The goal is to promote gender equity in a field that’s still largely male-dominated. It creates space for women to share their journeys, support one another, and inspire others to take on the challenges they aspire to.
Ubuntu (Race and Ethnicity)
Started by just three team members, Ubuntu has grown into a meaningful movement—bringing together members and allies to raise awareness around race and ethnicity. The group works to raise awareness around racial equity, and create space for open dialogue and deeper understanding of the visible and invisible barriers that impact the inclusion of Black professionals, helping us move closer to meaningful and lasting representation at all levels of the organization.

One of our most active and impactful groups, VLI em Cores creates space for meaningful conversations and learning around individuality, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Its mission is to make these conversations part of the everyday culture at VLI, ensuring they are reflected across all areas of the business.
People with Disabilities
This group takes a proactive and engaging approach— not only supporting its members but also inspiring allies and contributing to larger structural changes across VLI.
Generations
As a company operating within one of the most traditional industries, we’re proud to bring together professionals from different age groups and stages of life. The Generations group helps bridge this diversity, encouraging the exchange of experience, aspirations, and growth across all generations within VLI.
